Fairtrade in Crickhowell   What is Fairtrade?   • A fair price paid to producers in developing countries, plus an extra payment to be invested for community development projects. • A long trading commitment without harming the environment. • Fair wages and working conditions. • No forced labour, child or adult. • Rights for women. • The right to join trade unions.   Local Products fairly traded in Crickhowell "Think Global - Shop Local" Local farm produce and other foods, craft goods and artworks bought directly by local outlets and sold in Crickhowell are also fairly traded. While we do not have a Farmers' Market, the town is full of shops selling locally produced foods from small suppliers. You have a choice when you go shopping, to make a contribution to helping others.
