Ynys Mon, or Anglesey, has long
been a mecca for sea kayakers, but the island has
been inhabited from pre-history, and its rich and
varied culture can be traced back to the Druids.
Add the varied geology and abundant wildlife of the
island, and you have a canoeing and/or kayaking
holiday with a difference!

This course will
explore the coastline and estuaries of
Anglesey, by means of canoe, sea kayak or,
occasionally, on foot.
The course is offered
on the basis of dates by arrangement for
groups of 4-8, so we can adapt the
canoeing excursions to the ability and
interests of the group. You need only
basic canoe or kayak paddling ability on
flat water, but more experienced paddlers
are welcome.

Canoeing
into the Cymyran Strait under Four Mile
Bridge, which carried the old Post-Road

If
you are not sure of your experience, our
'Introduction
to Canoeing or Introduction to
Kayaking'
courses would provide useful skills and
experience for these holiday courses. A
group of beginners could combine both
courses.
