Is your
ultimate aim to cruise lazily on placid water
admiring the scenery, or to sample the thrills
and
spills of
white-water? Whatever you want from paddlesport,
one of our canoeing and/or kayaking courses will
give you a firm foundation of skill and
experience.
At Mountain
& Water we have a rich variety of paddling
opportunities for you to experience. Our courses
are run at several locations around Wales and range
from introductory "taster" days to improver
coaching on white-water and
sea.

Between us we
are qualified and experienced across the spectrum
of canoesport, and if you are not sure what is
right for you, we will help you choose the most
appropriate craft and environment to get the most
out of canoeing.
We
offer courses in open
canoes, open-cockpit kayaks, and closed-cockpit
kayaks.
On some
courses, you will have the opportunity to paddle
all three types.

|
The emphasis of
our courses is on gaining the skills and experience
to progress to your chosen form of paddlesport. We
do not follow a formal syllabus, but keep the
programme as flexible as possible to address
individuals' aspirations. However, BCU/UKCC 1, 2
and 3 Star tests and Paddlepower awards can be
taken on appropriate courses, by prior
arrangement.
