Coastal Adventure Day An action-packed day
at the seaside! Climbing, scrambling, exploring sea-caves,
swimming and
surfing. Our 'Coastal
Adventure Day' is ideal for a special day out or
group who want to spice up their holiday with some
outdoor action! Come with a sense of humour and
willing to try anything! The day is built around
'Coasteering' but the exact programme, involving a
selection of the following activities, is decided
on the day to suit the conditions. 'Requests' will
be met wherever possible, but we reserve the right
not to include an activity if we consider that
conditions for it are unsuitable. This activity is almost impossible to describe! You have to try it to find out what it's all about. Follow the coastline as near to sea-level as possible. This can involve traversing, crawling, scrambling, climbing and swimming. Great for kids, or those who want to be a a kid again! Available in calm conditions for beginners, or in more challenging conditions for those with basic experience. Kayak surfing is available for the more experienced, or bodyboarding for those who want a gentle introduction to the surf. Climbing and Abseiling Using the security of a top-rope system, beginners can quickly get to grips with moving around on the cliff face and trying out various methods of safeguarding their climbing partners. Wayfaring is an ideal introduction to map and compass skills and a great way to learn the rudiments of navigation. And it's FUN! Gower Peninsula Pembrokeshire Snowdonia Combinations
with other activities Coasteering
is normally offered as a half-day session. It can
be combined with climbing and abseiling or
