Introduction
to Paddlesport - Canoeing and
Kayaking
These
courses provide an introduction to the
range of paddlesport opportunities, both
canoeing and kayaking.
On the
5-day course, you will be given the
opportunity to try open-cockpit touring
kayaks, closed-cockpit whitewater-type
kayaks, sea kayaks and open
canoes.
Starting
on the sheltered placid water of the
Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, you will
also be given the opportunity to paddle at
at least one lake and one river venue
during the week, and we will undertake a
self-suffcient day trip (venues and
programme subject to weather and water
conditions).
This
course is run on a self-catering basis at
the award-winning Pencelli Castle Camp
Site.
on the
banks of the Monmouthshire & Brecon
Canal.

This course is
suitable for adults and older children
(under-18's need to be accompanied by an
adult family member).
Families of at least 4, with younger
children, may book an alternative
date.
