Introduction to Sea Kayaking aims to help you acquire the skills and experience to progress in sea kayaking. the course is held at two of Wales classic sea kayaking venues; Anglesey and Pembrokeshire, and you will paddle at a variety of classic locations, taking part in planning and navigation.

We do not follow a formal syllabus, but keep the programme as flexible as possible to address individuals' aspirations. However, appropriate BCU/UKCC Kayak Star tests and Paddlepower awards can be taken on the course, by prior arrangement.

This course is run on a half-board basis (bed, breakfast and packed lunch) at Ingledene B&B, beside the sea in Trearddur Bay*.

Sea kayaking course camp Pembrokeshire

Sea kayaking course camp beside the sea at Sandy Haven

This course is run on a self-catering basis, camping beside the sea within easy reach of a number of stunning kayaking venues. Camping equipment supplied.

 

5 days (4 nights) £375 per person. Based on sharing in a 2-3-person tent. There may be a supplementary 'pitch' charge for a single tent.

If you do not have prior experience, one of our Introduction to Kayaking courses would be an ideal preparation for this course.
